Summary of Changes

Hello @jbhanu-thoughtspot, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces a minor adjustment to the pre-authentication cache logic, specifically by commenting out a condition that checks for a full app embed with a visible primary navbar. This change appears to be a targeted fix, likely to address a specific test case or unblock a development scenario related to embedding functionality.

Highlights

  • Pre-authentication Cache Logic Adjustment: A condition this.isFullAppEmbedWithVisiblePrimaryNavbar() has been commented out in the isDisabled calculation for the pre-authentication cache within src/embed/ts-embed.ts. This change is likely a temporary measure or part of a test fix.

Code Review

This pull request comments out a line of code related to the pre-auth cache logic. This is generally not a good practice for production code. If this change is intended to be permanent, the commented-out code and its associated explanatory comments should be removed entirely to maintain code clarity. If this is a temporary change for debugging, it should not be merged. Furthermore, this change appears to break existing unit tests, which is a significant concern.

this.viewConfig.overrideOrgId !== undefined
|| this.embedConfig.disablePreauthCache === true
|| this.isFullAppEmbedWithVisiblePrimaryNavbar()

high

Commenting out code is generally discouraged as it can lead to confusion and code rot. If this condition is no longer necessary, it should be removed completely rather than commented out. Also, please consider removing the related comment block on lines 267-269 which now becomes stale. This change also seems to break existing unit tests.
