default theme should match user preference

The default theme of the website should match the [dark/light mode preference](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50840168/how-to-detect-if-the-os-is-in-dark-mode-in-browsers) set by user's browser.

If I am in dark mode, I would like the website to default to dark theme.
