This looks good to me - effectively a re-creation of the existing unit tests for the deprecated compare_clk function but for the new replacement - the diff_clk function.

Small update to tests, to add coverage of
diff_clkwhich replaces the now deprecatedcompare_clk.Relevant previous work: #80
