HTML needs a SARCASM tag, same as EM tag including nesting ability. This is especially useful for clarification as some people miss it but it would aid A.I. language processing and translation processing.

Over 10 years since I suggested it; perhaps now is the time?

It's already there in the parser:

An end tag whose tag name is "sarcasm"

Take a deep breath, then act as described in the "any other end tag" entry below.

Let's close this until we have a concrete proposal for widely-used software that plans on using such a tag.
