Goal: To increase overall speed whilst:

  • Avoiding points of high tippyness risk, by keeping fast movement and fast rotation separate, and keeping rotation at a more reasonable level.
  • Trying to keep the last bit of each path rotationless. @65-7a and I theorise that maybe this will mitigate the wiggle we have been seeing.

These refined paths do include some higher speeds than our current paths, so need to be tested very tentatively. There are a few points I worry about that I will create a slightly slower version of to test first.

Current "Refined quick centre GH>IJ>KL" path saves almost 3 seconds off what the "New quick centre GH>IJ>KL" path (which we were using by the end of the comp) was performing (in the sim, there are of course pauses with intaking and sometimes shooting in reality (hopefully pauses caused by The Wiggles will be improved though)).
