Documentation is not clear enough, needs major cleanup #33

To address the following comment in storesafe/cordova-sqlite-storage#596 (comment):
The documentation isn't clear enough.
Despite the amount of effort it has taken me to keep the documentation up to date with the actual behavior I would definitely agree that the documentation needs major cleanup. The main README.md should just have the most important information and move a lot of the details to other pages.
Unfortunately I cannot make any promise due to my current workload. I hope to address this within the next major release of cordova-sqlite-storage (storesafe/cordova-sqlite-storage#687) if not within a minor release (storesafe/cordova-sqlite-storage#685).
