Fixed shear-moment diagram images not appearing issue and added sign convention diagrams
This should be updated now to have the internal sign conventions diagram on the combined loading page as well. Please let me know if there is anything else I should adjust. |
looks like there is an issue in the live version of the Shear & Moment

Where is this image from? Is it open source? If so, cite it. If not, recreate it with changes that allow us to use it.

The image was initially from one of the statics pages, but I copied it over to the solid mechanics folder. Looking at the statics pages again, I can't find the image anymore so it might not be in use right now. I can work on redrawing the diagram this weekend, or can just remove it from the webpages.

Does this image need to be on the shear moments diagram page? I thought this was just for combined loading?
This image of the arrow representing a vector in/out of the page is just from a google search, we should just re-draw our own. I think this wants to be wherever we talk about sign convention (we can show a 2d version of some 3d figure) |
