Error: can't access property "echarts", root is undefined

Hey, after following the import maps instructions, I'm getting the following error in my browser console:

Uncaught TypeError: can't access property "echarts", root is undefined
    <anonymous> http://localhost:3000/assets/echarts/theme/dark-6a9fac4a.js:32
    <anonymous> http://localhost:3000/assets/echarts/theme/dark-6a9fac4a.js:34

I can create a repro project if needed.

In the instructions, does the "add echarts in main js" refer to application.jsor index.js?

Please try to debug, and maybe you can make a fix.
I think I won't have time to look on it.
As a workaround - try the previous version.

I was on 0.0.9, downgrading to 0.0.7 didn't help. I'll take a look and see what I can do to fix

Quick follow up, I'm able to sidestep the error by removing the dark theme from javascript/application.js:

// import "echarts/theme/dark"
import "@hotwired/turbo-rails"
import "controllers"

It seems like root.echarts isn't defined here: https://github.com/railsjazz/rails_charts/blob/main/app/assets/javascripts/echarts/theme/dark.js#L32

I can get on for now since I don't require a dark theme, but there might be an issue, or it's user error on my side.

Chatgpt suggests
import * as echarts from 'echarts'
window.echarts = echarts

import 'echarts/theme/dark'

Or

Example from config/importmap.rb:

pin "echarts", to: "echarts/echarts.min.js"
pin_all_from "app/assets/javascripts/echarts/theme", under: "echarts/theme"

Or adjust depending on where the theme is stored.

Could you please try, maybe you can fix the issue and update Readme
