Are you intending to complete this, or did you just share it in case others might want to pick up the code where Claude's AI left off with it? I'll go ahead and mark the PR as a draft since it's not ready for review yet. |

Sorry, I should have clarified. I wasn't intending to finish this; I just opened the PR as a clue to where the performance issues are. This is related to an issue that I opened #382 |

I am seeing very poor performance on a 4k monitor. I spent a little bit of time trying to get Claude to fix it, and it was able to improve the performance significantly; however, some things, such as scrolling, no longer work.
I figured I'd open this PR in case it is helpful at all as a starting point
