In order to implement reading of data from the filesystem/http/dat sufficiently flexible, reading needs to be both streaming and byte-level efficient. This PR is adding a protocol-buffer-compatible reading-framework that allows the implementation of custom readers for i.e. for binary data in the ept but also for las readers, etc.
