Issue Accessing GitHub Copilot Pro After GitHub Education for Teachers Approval - I do not have GitHub Pro #166100

Hi everyone,Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm encountering an issue with GitHub Copilot Pro activation and would like to see if anyone else has experienced this or has any suggestions. Context: Approval Date: I was approved for GitHub Education for Teachers on July 11, 2025. (I've attached a screenshot of the approval confirmation for clarity). The message indicated that benefits would be available within 72 hours. More than 72 hours have passed since the approval. Important additional information: I currently do not have a GitHub Pro subscription. The Problem: When I try to access GitHub Copilot Pro via the link provided in the approval email or from the GitHub Education Dashboard, it redirects me to the page to purchase a subscription, instead of activating the free benefit for teachers. I have tried logging out and logging back into GitHub, both in the browser and in VS Code (by signing out and signing back into the GitHub extension), but the issue persists.

Once available, you can claim your To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you. It seems that after submitting the ticket, I was granted full access to the benefits a few hours later. |

i have the same issue, i did have Copilot Pro but suddenly they revoked it. i re-verified myself as a student i have the PRO tag but not the Copilot Pro. i don't know what to do |
