Description of issue

I am trying to create a Formulae for Plakar, and they have a agent which is recommended to run. I thought the way to do that was by adding a service, but it doesn't work. When the service starts, it starts the agent, but it is killed. I cannot find a process with the pid, and Plakar says that no agent is running.

Is there a way to start the agent after the installation and every start of the OS, or should I add a Caveat that says the agent needs to be started?

Does plakar agent start keep running? Because if it only starts the daemon this isn't the correct command for a service.

No, it doesn't keep running. It only starts the daemon.
What is the correct way to run the command at startup to run the daemon?

Do not daemonize agent, run in foreground.
