Description of issue

I am curious why Homebrew doesn't support multi-threaded downloads like the other Linux package managers, like dnf or pacman. Any plans for this to be coming up in the future? I think this would be a really useful thing to do, and the users who have high network bandwidth can set the number of threads they want.
