This is a companion PR to #33028 and we hope to find a consensus that will eventually allow us to derive a lint rule to prevent reintroducing inconsistency. This is important because #33442 uses highlight.js, which selectively highlights based on a set of strings that it defines per grammar.

Choices:

  • cpp
  • hpp
  • cc
  • hh
  • c++
  • h++
  • cxx
  • hxx
