Branch name order doesn't as response

I saved definition data on server, and api response like this

but the designer show this

any idea to fix it?

The order of keys is resolved in this way (designer/src/workspace/switch-step/switch-step-component-view.ts):

const branchNames = Object.keys(step.branches);

Are you sure that you stored this dictionary in this order? You can try print to the console the raw JSON from DB, or use JSON.stringify(definition, null, 2) to debug it.

Objects in javascript do not guarantee order when saving to DB

In the 0.30.1 version you can provide own branch names resolver.

const extensions = [
  StepsDesignerExtension.create({
    switch: {
      branchNamesResolver: (step) => Object.keys(step.branches) // or `step.properties.branchNames`
    }
  })
];

So now you can store the order of branches in a dedicated property, like step.properties.branchNames.
