Very nice additions, thanks for another great contribution 🥇
I will just keep Raspberry Pi in the README.me because it seems like a vast majority of the user base is Raspberry Pi young students that use the script because of its simplicity and it verbose comments, it will make it easier to find it just googling :)

So just use normal ping rather than fping to reduce requirements
Use /bin/ip which has replaced ipconfig
Allow for the prevention of reboot loops
