Option to not remove loadBalancer status record?

Is there an option to not clear loadBalancer status on exit? (If not, I'm happy to contribute).

I believe this makes running multiple pods / restarting pods harder, particularly if you have a DNS controller watching the status record.

No, this makes sense if you use an external DNS controller.
