README doesn't explain how to work with inline refs

Hi,

The README doesn't explain how to work with inline refs, which is a very basic use case IMO. I'm not sure if I would have figured it out without the last comment on this issue.

I plan to make a PR that adds another example to the README, for working with inline refs.
