🛠️ Getting Started

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/chevconnect.git
cd chevconnect

npm install

OPENAI_API_KEY=your_openai_api_key_here

npm run dev

💡 How It Works
User uploads a resume or pastes a LinkedIn URL.

The backend parses the PDF or LinkedIn content into plain text.

Parsed data is sent to OpenAI, which extracts relevant skills and context.

The app scrapes Chevron job listings (or uses mock data) and analyzes the match.

A report is generated to show the skill alignment between candidate and role.

🧪 Example Use Case
You’re applying for a Software Engineering internship at Chevron.

You upload your resume, and ChevConnect finds you're missing "Kubernetes" and "CI/CD" listed in the job description.

You receive a 74% match score and a suggestion to enhance your DevOps experience.
