Latest version hangs on cmd-c on MacOS

Hi,
I updated gitgui via homebrew (2.51.0; tcl-tk 9.0.2) on macos and found it broken when reverting files etc.
I'm aware of this #21 and that it has been since fixed.

So I built gitgui from source & the revert issue went away -- however, the program still behaves oddly, at times I cannot cmd-c it in terminal (it just hangs & I have to force quit), or sometimes I cannot cmd-q it, hangs as well.

Is this known?

A step-by-step procedure to reproduce the problem would be appreciated.

I git gui in terminal in current directory (it opens as usual), and then try to cmd+c in terminal to quit the process, it hangs & I have to force quit.

Trouble is hangs only sometimes, not always :/. Before I haven't had any issues for years.

Can you bisect the commit that introduces the failure? Note that you can run Git GUI from the source directory without installing. Just type ./git-gui.sh.
