Any git command that writes to disk.

Expected behaviour

It should be successful.

git add . returns this

I am not sure how to provide Minimal, Complete & Verifiable Example for this matter.
My issue might be bit vague, but that is all I got.

I am not cloning/commtting to clould storage, I am doing it in my local hard drive.
I reinstalled my OS and establishing my dev environment -> installed git, by downloading latest msi package from git-scm -> all of my previous git repositories just refuses to get commands like pull, add, clone or init. It is showing similar (permission-related) message.

I tried installing git with Admin privilege, rebooting / modifying permission to the repo etc. Nothing helped.

I downloaded old version of git, keeping in mind that when some months ago I was reinstalling OS and doing the same thing (installing git and everything) it worked without any hassle, and it works now.

Nobody has your existing clone. Therefore, in order to make it reproducible, you would have to start with a fresh clone.

If that doesn't work, you should actually start by simply creating files. If that already doesn't work, then you know that there's a problem with your setup.

If that does not give a "permission denied", you can continue by trying to initialize the Git repository elsewhere, like in temp, in your home directory, on C, directly. Just continue to try and figure out how to produce this thing from a fresh repository. And if it's still not working, try to monitor what's going wrong with Sysinternal tools such as Process Monitor.

It is not repository specific, it is happening every repo on my machine.

With this version of git: Git-2.50.1-64-bit

I tried git init with new folders, tried it directly under C: issue persisted.
