Ruler icons should scale with font size

When using Ctrl++ or Ctrl+- within a Text Editor to increase/decrease the font size, the icons of the ruler on the left hand side do not change their size. This is how it looks in 2025-06 after increasing the font size:

It would be nice if the ruler columns adjusted their width to match the current font height so that the icons can be scaled properly, otherwise it can be hard to recognize these icons.

I agree that having the annotation ruler scale together with the editor text would be nice (or even somehow expected).
Regarding prioritization, I would like to make clear that this is not a regression but has probably always been like this. This is how it looks in 2024-03:

Also note that since that annotation ruler is created out of images that could only be scaled at poor rather quality until the 2025-06 release (due to raster graphics being used), it was probably not a good idea to make that ruler scale yet. In addition, there is no technical capability of drawing images at sizes independent from the monitor zoom at according sharpness yet (see technical details below). Since we have support for SVGs starting with 2025-06 and since the images used in the ruler should hopefully be SVGs (or can be provided as such), we have the technical basis for sharply scaling those images at any size, still it will first require significant enhancements to SWT on all three supported platforms.
Thus, I am not sure whether we should tag this as "bug". In my opinion this is not an actual bug but just a limitation of the technical capabilities requiring an according "enhancement".

Some technical details: Even now, the images would, by default, only be retrieved at monitor zooms and then need to be scaled up via the GC. There is currently no API (in SWT) for drawing an image at a custom zoom/size taking the image data at the best fitting scale (so to not produce blurry results) but everything is tied to the current device zoom or the zoom of a control that you are drawing to. For Windows, there is already an initial improvement how the GC decides which image zoom it uses (independent from monitor zoom) to achieve a sharper result, and if I am not mistaken MacOS does something similar at the OS level (but only for 100% and 200% images by design).
So to sum it up, in my understanding this feature first requires some improvements to SWT so that one is able to draw images at custom zoom/size using image data with the best fitting scale, including according rasterization of SVGs for any size. Allowing to draw images at arbitrary size (in particular SVGs) would be a nice feature anyway but also involves some according API design in SWT.
