Hi Bill. Thanks for following up. I was wondering whether there is, somewhere, an index of all the Microsoft c# docs. I am new to c# and mostly finding the things I need with a carefully craftes search string to avoid stack overflow and other unreliable sources. There being no manual, per se, and index of the docs would be very helpful. best regards Stephen

Hi again There is one other minor matter to report. If you make a minor typo in a variable name, the message you recieve is along the lines of the variable being “out of scope” - I think the actual message says that this variable icannot be used in this context. A better message would say that the variable is out of scope OR undefiined. Seasoned c# programmers will know what the existing message means, but for a new c# developer this can result in some wasted time trying to figure out why a variable cannot be used in a context where this inly a single Main block… Stephen

I rarely think of the number of snippets. I add code examples when the code expresses the concept better than prose. I know that's vague, but I'd trust your instincts on the best way to explain any concept.
