Dashboard needs a legend for symbols on the Traces page

The Traces page uses a lot of symbols (particularly under the View page for each trace) but not all of them feel very intuitive as to what they represent at first glance. It would be great if we could include (1) a key / legend on the traces page for the user or (2) include the ability to hover over a symbol to see what it represents.

Tagging @dbreshears, @tlmii, and/or @smitpatel to label this issue as a dashboard issue since I don't have labelling permissions.

do you have a possible design in mind? enough perhaps to label this as help wanted?
