Summary

This PR proposes to remove the builder tool pluto from the Developer Portal.

Rationale

  • Last commit: +3 years ago.
  • Experimental UPLC DSL with Haskell-like syntax. Developed 2019–2021 as a prototype for low-level optimization. Not actively maintained, tested or production-grade, but can be said it might be useful for educational/reference purposes.

Highlight

This repository might be one of the tools that deserve an "outdated" label. It can also be argued that the tool has served its purpose and has been taken over by other efforts like https://github.com/Plutonomicon/plutarch-plutus which have gained significantly more traction.

Or not. My vote is on removing it due to the fact that alternatives like Plutarch have taken over and are actually used in production code with high efficiency.
