I think https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/windowscontainers/deploy-containers/base-image-lifecycle is probably a better reference for the container images specifically 😇

(I struggled with this same question when I did docker-library/official-images#18143, and opted, at least for now, to continue to support it as long as GitHub still does for DOI and images we maintain directly 🙈)

hmm okay, if your team is still supporting it we'll stick to the same plan.

Hi Folks,
Windows Server 2019 is still supported with extended support. Refer - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-server-2019.
Customer still uses 2019 Windows server images and microsoft do release security patches every Patch tuesday's.

Request to add back this container image if possible.

@KlwntSingh Given the limited number of customers using this combination and to reduce our maintenance burden, we won't be returning this support to Adoptium. We recommend that you start with the DockerFiles in this PR and maintain the set you need internally.
