Create SapMachine installer packages

Important

Package creation requires SAP's open-source application Script2Pkg 1.1.0 or later. The latest version of Script2Pkg can be downloaded free of charge from the official SAP GitHub.


  1. Launch SapMachine Manager.
  2. Go to File > click Build SapMachine Installer Package. Alternatively you can press Cmd + B to open the following window:
  1. Make sure to read the displayed information before clicking Next.
  1. You can now select, which SapMachine release and type you want to package. Click Next to proceed. The following window should open:
  1. You can now select, which type of Macs you want to create the package for. Click Next to proceed and wait for the process to finish. You will see the following windows pop up:

  1. The package will automatically be passed to Script2Pkg for package creation. The source folder of the package is displayed in the Finder, so you can move, change or delete it as you wish. The installer package is stored in the same location and with the same name as the source script. The Finder window opens automatically and will look like the image below:
