completion not working in MacOS

With the latest release v0.253.10629, none of the completions are working on my Mac. I confirmed this with another developer that said completions were not working on Mac, but were working on Linux. Other features were functioning somewhat, refactor tools, diagnostics, etc.

Thanks for reporting! This is weird.Wwe of course tested it on MacOS and it worked, but we'll try to nail the bug.
