@hasanelfalakiy yes, that should be possible. You will also need Java installed. npm shouldn't be needed. We now support --stdio mode, so socat is possibly not needed as well, but TCP+Socat should also work.

Maybe I didn't understand the question. What exactly do you mean by running it in terminal? You would need a client like Neovim that would connect to the LSP server.
Neovim setup should be quite straightforward if you're familiar with it.
