Regarding tip #1: `uvloop` and `httptools` come with `fastapi[standard]`

The first tip is a little out-of-date. fastapi[standard] comes with uvicorn[standard] which in turn already includes uvloop and httptools:

I disagree. First tip is valid.

If you don't care about dependencies you don't need, then you have a valid point... Usually people would just add fastapi, and uvicorn as dependencies.

You are right – let me rephrase, then: The "Installation" part of the official FastAPI documentation features fastapi[standard] quite prominently – maybe Tip #1 should include a short hint to the different flavors of the packe to make clear adding uvloop and httptools is relevant in a certain context.

So.. it was just a thought. I agree the default case should be avoiding the standard set of dependencies, so tip #1 is indeed valid.
