As the question suggests, I'd like to know if I can safely remove the "com.android.phone" package and still receive calls and SMS with "org.fossify.phone". I specifically ask this question in the context of a stock Android 10 OS, but I don't need a specific answer tied to a specific Android version, so that a possible answer can benefit the majority of Android users. |

Not safe. Do not remove it. Even removing the system dialer will break emergency calls. |
