Looks great!

You might get better performance with py5.begin_shape(py5.POINTS) and calls to vertex() and stroke(). Also, I've noticed square points are faster than round points. The reason is because Processing doesn't really render points; it uses triangles to make small meshes that are oriented towards the camera (called bill-boarding). A square point is two triangles but a round points is a whole slew of triangles making a curved mesh. Something I did for The Breath Eaters is to uses square points but use a shader to make the square points look round. This was a big performance gain.
