Currently, GitHub does not support resumable downloads directly from its web interface or raw file URLs. This means that if your download is interrupted, you have to start over from the beginning, which can be problematic on slow or metered connections. Here are some suggestions that might help:

My connection is kind of slow; about 50-100 KBps at best. And I cannot download any files larger than about 60-70MB, because GitHub cuts the download every time, and the link I'm using for the download, becomes invalid immediately after that.
Add to this that I'm on a paid, metered connection, and you'll see how comedy adds to injury... :(
Please GitHUb, consider that not everybody has multi-megabit connections and at least allow us to restart where you interrupted our downloads.
