Currently, interactions on the GitHub Copilot chat webpage (copilot.github.com) are included in the total Copilot chat message count.

As this web-based usage serves fundamentally different purposes from IDE-based interactions (e.g. programming assistance in VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, etc.), we request that web chat usage ​​be fully excluded from message quota calculations​​.

This separation will ensure developers' core productivity value in IDEs remains unaffected by auxiliary web conversations, better reflecting actual programming usage patterns.
