I’m encountering an issue with the MoonTV repository after attempting to transfer it to the LunaTechLab organization.

Steps taken

1. Originally, the repository resided at senshinya/MoonTV.
2. Created a new organization named LunaTechLab.
3. Initiated “Transfer ownership” via the GitHub UI and confirmed. Nothing appeared to happen.
4. Attempted the transfer a second time and confirmed again.
5. The repository now shows up at LunaTechLab/MoonTV.

Current behavior

• Any action on the repo (e.g. pushing, settings changes) displays the message:

  “The repository is locked due to an ownership transfer.”

• The lock persists indefinitely, blocking all operations.

Expected behavior

• After a single confirmed transfer, the repository should finish migrating and unlock automatically.
• Normal operations (push, merge, settings updates) should be available once the transfer completes.

Additional details

• Transfer attempts were made within a few minutes of each other.
• No email notifications about the status of the transfer were received.
• I have admin privileges on both the source and target accounts/organizations.

Could someone please help unlock the repository or advise on how to resolve the duplicate-transfer lock? Thank you!

• The message “The repository is locked due to an ownership transfer” usually appears briefly during the migration process. Since it's persisting, and you attempted the transfer twice in a short span, it’s likely that the repository is stuck in a limbo state.
• The error “Repository 'LunaTechLab/MoonTV' is disabled. Please ask the owner to check their account” confirms that GitHub has flagged the repository as disabled — this typically requires manual intervention from GitHub Support.

Since you have admin rights on both accounts and didn’t receive any status emails, I would contact GitHub Support directly and reference:

• The source repo: senshinya/MoonTV
• The target repo: LunaTechLab/MoonTV
• The exact error message you're seeing
• That no notification was received, and the repo has been locked for an unusual amount of time
