Hi! Yes, you can reapply and include additional documentation or context. GitHub Education does accept alternative forms of proof for teachers if a standard school ID isn’t available. Since you're a teacher in Argentina and provided a salary receipt, that’s a valid form of proof in many cases. Here’s what you can do: Go to education.github.com/discount_requests and check your application status. If it was denied, you should see an option to reapply. When reapplying: Upload your salary receipt again. Include a written explanation (in English if possible) stating that your school/university doesn’t issue photo IDs and that salary receipts are standard proof of employment in Argentina. Use your official school/university email if available — this helps validate your affiliation. If you're still unsure, you can also reach out to GitHub Education Support for clarification. Hope you get approved soon! |

Hi everyone,
I am trying to activate my education account but i have a problem: neither my school nor university have any kind of ID. I am a high school and university teacher from Argentina, I submitted my application using my school email [redacted due to PII] and uploaded my salary receipt as proof of my affiliation (standard proof of working somewhere here in Argentina). Is there a way to reapply and send some additional information explaining this?
Thanks!
