GitHubEducation academic vs personal profile

Hi everyone,

I registered last week with an academic profile, using my institute's email address. This is also the same email associated with my GitHub account. Unfortunately, Copilot doesn't seem to recognize this, and it's asking me to upgrade to a premium plan.

To the best of my understanding, this shouldn't be necessary for academic users. Does anyone know how I can regain access to Copilot under the academic plan?
