When you click Published in GitHub Spark, you will see “Publishing failed.”

When an error occurs, the following message is displayed in Iterate.

Error creating app: json: cannot unmarshal object into Go value of type string
Deploying app to runtime/d5f66f37495e10067fa3/deployment/bundle
Error: error deploying app: HTTP 429: 429 Too Many Requests (https://api.github.com/runtime/d5f66f37495e10067fa3/deployment/bundle)
Usage:
  runtime deploy [flags]
Examples:
$ gh runtime deploy --dir ./dist --app my-app
# => Deploys the contents of the 'dist' directory to the app named 'my-app'
Flags:
  -a, --app string             The app to deploy
  -d, --dir string             The directory to deploy

Even if you wait a while and try again, the same error will occur.

It works as expected in the editor screen.

In this situation, do you have any advice on how to proceed with investigating the error?

Error 429 says too many requests which means that you sent too many API requests to the GitHub API. This is usually resolved by just waiting for a minute, for the rate limits to reset.

I waited for about 10 minutes, but the problem was not resolved.
I would like to proceed with the investigation, taking into account the rate limit information.

Have been seeing the 429 since Saturday, also seeing all sparks fail when trying to access data with this error in the Data tab (possibly related?):

Error fetching data
There has been an error fetching data. Please try again later.

Happening for both existing Sparks and for a brand new one created from one of the UI's suggestions.

I wasn't able to publish until now, but today I was able to publish.

I didn't change the code, but it's fixed.
Maybe the internal problem was resolved.
