UIUC Online MCS student, unable to verify student status

Hi everyone,

I'm unable to get the automated verification system to accept my proof of enrollment for the UIUC MCS program. Has anyone else been able to get this to work?

Could you please provide the exact error that you are getting when trying to apply?

I repeatedly get this denial message, despite providing my enrollment status through the unofficial transcript. The program is entirely online, so I would not be on campus. The program requirements can be viewed here

When I attempted to file a ticket about the issue, the system kicked me back, stating that student verification cannot be done manually anymore.

Additionally, this error states that the document does not demonstrate current student status. The document I provided clearly states "Fall 2025" and the list of enrolled classes. I'm curious how this does not demonstrate current academic affiliation.

You have to be at the campus or select the option that you learn from home, to be verified. The learn from home option worked for me.

This is the option I have selected, and the application continues to be denied. I provided my unofficial transcript and the acceptance of admission to the online program.
