Hi GitHub Team,

I'm requesting that you add support for advanced reasoning models like Claude Sonnet 3.7 (Thinking) in Copilot Agent Mode. Right now, Agent Mode is limited in depth of planning and smart editing compared to what’s already possible in other AI coding tools.

Having Claude’s structured, thoughtful reasoning inside Agent Mode would be a massive productivity boost — especially for debugging, multi-step refactors, and intelligent decision-making.

It’s clear that the Ask tab already uses Claude in Copilot Pro, so extending this to Agent Mode should be the next logical step. Please prioritize this feature — many developers are waiting for a smarter agent that can truly assist, not just autocomplete.
