Delay in Access to GitHub Education Benefits After Approval

Hi everyone,

Hello GitHub Education Team,

I applied for GitHub Education benefits and received approval 3 days ago. However, I’m still unable to access the associated benefits, particularly GitHub Copilot and other student developer pack tools.

Could you please let me know when these benefits will be activated on my account? I’ve been waiting and would appreciate any update or assistance to resolve the delay.

You'll get a PRO badge when your benefits become available:

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Once approved, you can claim your Copilot PRO offer on this signup link.

To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you.

In case you encounter a problem claiming any offer, I recommend you raise a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your issue.

Can i use github copilot pro trial period till my academic benefits and copilot pro starts, will it affect it?

Hey @Manya1103, that shouldn't be a problem, but I suggest you wait a little longer until your benefits are available, so you don't have to add any payment information since it's required for Copilot trial.
