Student Developer Pack | NOT_VERIFIED_EVEN_AFTER_13_DAYS

Hi everyone,

My name is Gokul, I am a full time student, currently studying Bachelors of Information Technology at Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF), Kathmandu which is affiliated to Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia. So, I have ID cards and EDU emails of both college and university. Both the emails are active.

But when it comes to the ID Card, LBEF issues card with validity of only one year and renews them each year, distributing us new (physical) card with updated class information. And for the APU, it's one physical card with 3 years of validity expiring at the end of 2027.

I had applied for GitHub Student Developer Pack and got approved the previous year. But from that point, after a few months, I really do not understand why my ID got blacklisted and my GitHub Student Developer Pack got cancelled. Also, many features were locked for me. Both of my EDU email from LBEF and APU were added into the account. I tried to apply again, but the portal would allow me to upload my ID Card, but won't let me submit it. I would throw Application Error or something similar error message.

After that, I opened a new account (this one) and 6 months from creating this account, I applied for GitHub Student Developer Pack on April 26th, 2025, but it has been passed 13 days and my request is still neither verified nor rejected. This account too has both of my email from APU and LBEF added.

Back then due to the same reason, I was not able to apply into the GitHub Campus Expert Program nor was I able to utilize the Student Developer Pack benefits. The same is the case with this new account.

I do not want Student Developer Pack Benefits in both the account, I just want it to work in my one account, so that I can utilize the benefits and at the same time apply to GitHub Campus Expert program when it opens.

Please review my case, I am willing to provide every necessary assistance and cooperation to prove my legitimacy.

Account Flagging: Since your previous account got blacklisted, that might be affecting the new application. GitHub might be flagging it automatically. Contacting support directly could help clarify this.

Email Verification: Make sure both your EDU emails (from LBEF and APU) are correctly linked and verified on your GitHub account. Conflicting or unverified emails might cause issues.

ID Card Upload: The upload error might be due to the file size or format. Try reducing the size or changing the format to PDF/PNG, and make sure all the details on your ID are clear.

Multiple Accounts: GitHub usually prefers students to use one account for the Student Developer Pack. Having two might complicate the process.
