Unable to Activate GitHub Copilot Pro with Approved GitHub Education Student Benefits

Hi everyone,

My GitHub Student Developer Pack was approved on May 5, 2025. I'm trying to activate the free Copilot Pro benefit.

The approval stated benefits should be available within 72 hours. It's been over 48 hours now. The redemption link for Copilot Pro from my GitHub Education benefits page just takes me directly to a standard payment page for Copilot Pro, with no student discount or free activation applied.

Is this normal, and do I just need to wait the full 72 hours? Or is there a different step I should be taking to redeem the student Copilot Pro offer, especially since the link isn't reflecting the benefit?

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
