Accepted into GitHub Student Developer Pack but not receiving benefits

Hi everyone,

I recently got accepted into the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but I haven't received access to the benefits yet. When I go to the GitHub Education Pack page, it shows that I am eligible, but I can’t activate or redeem any offers.

I have tried:

Logging out and back into my GitHub account.
Clearing my browser cache and cookies.
Checking my email (including spam) for any activation links.
Trying different browsers and devices.
Has anyone else faced this issue? Any advice on how to resolve it?

Hi @elsaedy55,

When the benefits become available, the status label will turn purple and change to:

• Congrats! Your request for @elsaedy55 was approved and your benefits are now available.

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

How to enable Copilot Pro for GitHub Education verified students/teachers?
Once you have been successfully approved as a verified student or educator, your academic benefits will become available within a few days. You will receive an email when your academic benefits are ready to be redeemed.

Once the benefits are applied, Copilot Pro can be claimed via the benefits page or this signup link.

Thank you for your response! I understand that the benefits should become available within a few days, but it has already been 3 days since my approval, and I still haven't received access to them.

I have checked the GitHub Education Pack page, but the status hasn't changed yet. Is there anything else I should do, or should I just keep waiting?

You're welcome @elsaedy55 . Don't worry you don't have to take any additional steps, just keep waiting until your status changes. Then you'll be able to redeem the Student Developer Pack offers.
