Could we get directories in Wiki?

Hey I get we don't have branches in the Wiki, even though it would be very useful. But could we have directories in the Wiki? Currently if you manually create a directory via git and push the links of the markdown files in the wiki can't have the directories in them, or they render like a txt file when you click. Also if you click a link that goes nowhere and create a new topic the topic is created at root instead of inside the directory.

Wikis are very useful and I would love they would have more functionality.

Hey, I completely agree with you the current limitations of GitHub Wikis can be really frustrating, especially when working on larger or more structured documentation.

The lack of support for directories makes it really hard to organize content properly. I’ve also tried pushing folders via Git before and ran into the same problems links don't work as expected, and markdown files sometimes just render as plain text. It makes collaboration and navigation harder than it needs to be.

Your example wiki clearly shows the issue, and I can totally see why you'd want proper directory handling, especially in relation to the AGS manual issue you linked. Having either proper folder support or even branches for versioning would be a huge improvement.

Thanks for bringing this up definitely something GitHub should look into and hope they consider making Wikis more powerful and flexible in the future!
