Brew formula for OpenSearch 2.x?

On May 7, 2025, the opensearch formula was upgraded from 2.19.2 to 3.0.0 (see PR #222665). However, the 3.x release line contains breaking changes, it might not be possible for users to upgrade to the new major version. Previously, I have created an OpenSearch Maintenance Homebrew Tap containing an opensearch@1 formula (see also the corresponding discussion #3950).

It seems logical to add an opensearch@2 formula to this tap, but I'm a bit hesitant to do this, as I'm not sure if there is any interest in having this formula. If not, then I think it's best to deprecate the tap as a whole.

Note that I have tried to add an opensearch@2 formula to the OpenSearch Maintenance Homebrew Tap in vain; see PR #9 for details.

Upstream will maintain opensearch v2 until v4 is released, so it could be added as a versioned formula here.
