Any one else feel like they labotomized Codex after this latest update (v0.41.0 to v0.42.0)? It’s as bad or worse than claude now. Can't remember simple things, deletes work without asking, doesn't follow simple instructions. I feel like it took ten steps back, just to get some visual train of thought upgrades.

Make sure to check what model is being used. Updating to v0.42 changed the default in config.toml for me to gpt5-codex-low so I had to change it back to where it was before.
