Thanks @kratzert . It will be a pleasure. I think the timing that I reached you could not have been better! I will update with all codes I have so far from EStreams, and start contributing with the other issues. And nice to meet you @simonmoulds! Hope to see you soon for a meeting, whenever it makes sense. Best, |

Thanks Freddy @kratzert, and likewise nice to meet you @thiagovmdon. Pleased to be collaborating on this with you both, and very happy to have a general discussion in the next couple of weeks. |

Hi,
I thought I'll open this thread to talk a little bit about collaborations and how to best contribute. For a background @simonmoulds: I had a call today with @thiagovmdon, the creator of ESTREAMS, and he is interested in collaborating and contributing to this effort.
I introduced him to the project and how it started, and how we are for the moment approaching this. As mentioned in our call @thiagovmdon, I think the best way for contributions at the moment is similar to @simonmoulds approach in e.g. #5, by providing code snippets for countries we are not including so far. They don't have to follow any style, can even be in different programming languages, as long as they expose how data can be retrieve from a new portal, that is enough.
Then I take care of integrating this into the general framework that we have so far, as well as extending the framework to new functionalities, e.g. for #1 or #2.
Nothing more to say at this point, but let's keep this thread open for a general discussion on how to structure this work and eventually it might make sense to have a call in 1-2 weeks to discuss the current progress.
