Tab Functionality - Pin / Lock Note

1. Is there any way to 'Pin' a tab (e.g. Pinning tab in Google Chrome)?
2. Thoughts on a tab/note/split-view 'Lock', to hold/prevent the currently loaded and displayed Note/page from navigating away from it?
   • An example use case is in OneNote, the 'Dock to Desktop' feature which will force the current note to be docked and any links or attempted navigation to another note opens in a separate window while leaving the 'docked' pane on the same note/page.
   • NOT looking for the 'Dock' functionality, but the 'Navigating to the note' into a new view... Split || Tab || Window (could be a configurable option/dropdown for where or how to load the note/page).

Trilium Notes does not currently support pinning tabs like in Google Chrome, nor does it have a built-in feature to lock a tab, note, or split-view to prevent navigation away from the current note. Tabs are considered temporary and can be reordered, closed, or moved to new windows, but there is no option to fix a tab in place or restrict navigation within it (source, source).

There have been feature requests and discussions about stacked navigation and isolating tabs, but these are not implemented and would require significant UI changes (source). The closest workaround is using split view or moving tabs to new windows, but these do not lock the navigation context. Some users use browser plugins to simulate split views, but this is outside Trilium’s core functionality.
