is there any way can use two different nic to run metadata and realdata

Hi, I just start to use beegfs 8.1 and I want to know how to make beegfs running on different nics, meta has 1G nic, oss has 1G + 40G nics, and client also has 1G + 40G nics. what I want to know is running metadata on 1G nic and transfer the real data on 40G nic between oss node and client? I know RDMA nics can work like I said, but I'm guessing TCP nics can also working like this? Not sure, if someone can answer this question, please help me.

I expect that if the client is supposed connect to MD server using its IP on 1GigE network, that's what it will use and not something else unless system routes are configured in order to mess that up.
